Hi guys! How are you? Do you happen to know a place called Branchsto? I went there last Friday, which was a long weekend from Thursday until Sunday, with my big family (excluding my husband). I found out that it is a great holiday destination with lots of ponies you and your kids can ride, and a nice restaurant where you can have some food while enjoying the view. Best if you can be there before 8 am at weekends since the place is quite new and very little Indonesians have seen ponies before. Curiosity at its max.
It was a fun experience for the whole family and the kids were totally enjoying their time. They went here and there telling us to see this and that. In fact, we were still steamed-up we then prolong our trip to accommodate our energy. Shortly after Branchsto, we went to the nearest park and then went ice skating at Bintaro Xchange Mall. I wonder if the ponies gave some of their sprightly energy to whoever riding them. Cause we feel so alive all day long!!! Yiiihaaaa!!!
Hmmmm..alhamdulillaah..I still remember how lovely morning yesterday was. I can feel the warmth of the sun, the breeze of the wind, and the cheerful laughter of Ar Ridha Al Salaam Islamic Green School kids. Sitting together under the trees, they watch islamic kid movie Dodo and Syamil, and then watch the hilarious Mr. Storyteller of PPPA Mobile Qur’an.
Kids, their teachers, and also the moms are so much entertained that we laughed so loud. Mr. Storyteller outstandingly deliver funny story while at the same time put some beautiful message in it, for example to memorize one ayat of Qur’an per day, to respect elders, and to read Qur’an.
Ar Ridha Al Salaam invited PPPA Mobile Qur’an to enliven their Book Week program, an awesome program that aims to increase students’ interest in reading books. They even held book swap program, unique reading selfie photo contest, and place some wonderful book week special decoration around the school. Awesome.

Whaaaaawww the biggest event of the year is happening!!! Hellowww Big Bad Wolf Books 2016!!! Thank you for landing in our beloved country, Indonesia! I am one of the lucky person who got to see this event and buy some largely discounted great books for me and my kids. For you who still doubting whether or not you should go there. Believe me, you should. Books that normally priced above Rp 250.000 or about US$19 (US$1 = Rp 13.000) sold for Rp 70.000 or about US$5. I even found a lovely local book for kids priced Rp10.000 (less than US1). Crazy or what?
I highly recommend you to come after dusk or before dawn, unless you want to spend more time queueing and at the same time doubting whether you should go back to grab some more books while waiting or not.
As a matter of fact, The Big Bad Wolf management claimed to have a mission to increase our population interest in reading (http://www.jakartabookclub.com/2016/04/panduan-belanja-buku-di-big-bad-wolf.html). They have successfully held the same event in Malaysia for years, and now they plan to bring out the same euphoria in Indonesia. Come on empty all your containers Big Bad Wolf! As we will madly empty our pocket… 😁😁😁
